Burrell School Project Ground Breaking Ceremony

Burrell School Project Ground Breaking Ceremony
Posted on 01/13/2020

On January 9, 2020, students, parents and staff from the Burrell School participated in the Burrell School Project Ground Breaking Ceremony. Guests including Superintendent Amy Berdos, Business Manager Bill Yukna, State Senator Paul Feeney, State Representative Jay Barrows, Assistant Town Manager Mike Johns and members of the School Committee, Board of Selectman and Building Committee gathered alongside representatives from the Massachusetts School Building Authority, CTA Construction and KBA Architects for this celebration.

This dream became a reality when in the fall of 2018 residents of Foxborough approved the project at town meeting.  This year the focus is the addition of a full size gymnasium and the preschool wing which will offer appropriate space for our youngest learners.  The renovation of all classrooms and the insertion of collaborative group spaces next year will provide an environment for learning to be maximized.
